Toyota FJ Cruiser 2010 New SUV
Toyota FJ Cruiser 2010 gets more power. This new SUV has styling inspired by Toyota’s 1960s-era Land Cruisers. Toyota FJ seats 5 and has 2 main doors, 2 rear-hinged rear access doors, and no pillar between. A swing-out cargo door has opening glass and a mount for the spare tire. FJ comes with rear-wheel drive or with four-wheel drive. The only engine is a 258-horsepower 4.0-liter V6, an increase of 19 horsepower from 2009.
Automatic transmission is standard. Toyota FJ Cruiser 4WD version is available with a 6-speed manual transmission. Two 4WD systems are offered. Both have a low-range gear for off-roading, but only the 4WD system used with the manual transmission can be left engaged on dry pavement. Maximum towing capacity is 5,000 pounds. Rear-drive FJs include a limited-slip rear differential. A locking rear differential is standard with manual transmission and 4WD, optional otherwise. Available safety features include ABS, antiskid system, curtain-side airbags, and front-side airbags. An off-road traction-control system is available on 4WD models. Optional equipment includes a rearview camera and rear-obstacle detection.
